HISADA CO., LTD.
"Quality is the lifeblood of the company. Anticipating the needs of the 21st century, we compete around the world in the field of roll-forming."
Developing proprietary roll-forming technology through our own R&D
Door frames and seat rails are indispensable parts for automobiles. They are manufactured by a process called roll-forming. As these parts have to look nice and at the same time meet safety standards, they require complicated and sophisticated processing methods.
To support such technology development, Hisada has adopted the Toyota Production System and actively works on the development of human resources with the young employees. By efficiently using the NVC laboratory, an in-house R&D center, the company continues to develop new processing technologies. The technique of roll-forming a high-tensile steel of 100 k is an example of such achievements.
Thanks to such constant efforts for improvement, the company continues to be competitive in its industry. Attaining the No. 1 share in several Japanese markets for automotive door frames (center pillars and others), power window lower frames, and division bars.
A strong competitive edge through the uncompromising quest for productivity
The automobile industry is a mature market, but the competition continues to expand in the automobile parts industry. Under these circumstances, the company continues its challenge to quickly meet the demands of customers. One of the keys to success is the strong teamwork among its employees, and as shown by its motto, "Every technology starts with people and ends with people." Another key is the joint R&D it carries out actively with clients. In 2004, Hisada was awarded all three awards for quality, technology, and cost given by a major customer.
Hisada is also positive about expanding its operations overseas. In 1997, the company set up an overseas subsidiary in Indiana, U.S.A. The fast growing Chinese market is another target. Today, Hisada supplies automakers worldwide with its products. Anticipating the demands of the 21st century, Hisada will develop its operations, knowing no boundaries.
